About
I'm a third-year student at NYU pursuing a joint degree in Computer Science and Data Science, with a deep orientation toward software engineering and systems programming.
My interests span data engineering & science, low-level systems, mathematics, and the intersection of software with real-world impact. I'm drawn to infrastructure that other engineers build on top of and work with daily.
Outside of software, I'm a hobbyist music producer, a fitness enthusiast, a chess player, and someone with long-term interest in philanthropy and public policy.
Experience
Incoming intern in Duolingo's SWE Thrive program, Summer 2026.

Built a queryable polymer database for materials science research at the University of California, San Francisco. Architected a full database migration from JSON/CSV to SQLite with ETL pipelining in Python, and Next.js API routes, implementing a TypeScript seeder and singleton DB connection pattern for significant query performance gains.

Built the landing page for the firm's website using HTML & CSS fundamentals combined with a Next.js architecture.

Projects
A Python & DuckDB based backtesting engine for evaluating and autonomously executing trading strategies with comprehensive analytics and visualization.
A concurrent key-value store written in C, demonstrating low-level memory management, thread safety, and systems programming depth.
A fractal visualization software created using Python and Matplotlib for rendering, and Numba JIT compilation for speedup. Hosted on Streamlit.
